Website re-designed and re-developed
LDRA are an International security software firm who came to us looking to upgrade their global website.

LDRA are a global security software solution company that deal with many other Internationally established brands from varying industries. They came to us looking for a mass overhaul of their existing website. This was to include a distinctly different redesign of the site along with extensive redevelopment of a number of key online features.
The site holds around 150 pages of content and had to work in multiple languages in order to satisfy its global audience. There also had to be an easy to manage back-end system with varying administration access levels set in place. This was to allow numerous admins from all over the world access to site areas that were assigned applicable to them.
Along with the new site, we were required to enhance their online presence across social media platforms and design a quarterly newsletter for print.
Although branding was to remain intact, the overall look and feel of the website required a dramatic facelift. Although a reputable firm globally, the site was somewhat dated and was failing to convey their corporate image in the desired light.
The existing site was on reflection a little bland so the first thing we wanted to achieve was an image that was brighter and exciting in appearance. Eager to give it a lift in style, we were also very aware that the content within this site was king, and that it needed to clear, concise and easy to read and find.
We created a backdrop that was made up of sparks and bright lights, almost to create a field of electricity and energy, which we felt fitting giving their area of expertise. Upon this lively background, the content was framed in a neat manner, ensuring all key messages were apparent and the site was easy to navigate.
With so much technical information lead content to showcase, it was important to break it down in to more manageable sections, so not to put off viewers with needlessly lengthy pages. To do this we introduced tabbed sections that highlighted bite size pieces of information to draw the viewer in and link to other areas of the site where full details could be found. Predominantly a functional element, these tabbed areas also provided a tidier site layout that visually worked better as well.

Along with the site, LDRA wanted to generate a bigger presence for themselves through social media. To start, we styled the company Twitter page to match the new look of the site, and added a live feed to the site itself. We produced a mini version of the new main site that works as 'Welcome' tab within their company Facebook page.

The new site has proved to be a real success. The reaction from all quarters at LDRA has been hugely positive with both the new design and its general usability. We remain in regular contact with LDRA and continue to assist in the development of the site and its features. Work on the new site has also led to additional print work and since its re-launch we have designed a new quarterly newsletter that is distributed to the whole of LDRA and its partners.
